walk along the codex
rolodex
there is no movement
that is not singular
that is not me
the universe unto itself
is one flat landmass
without a rough edge
when i die it will be no more
i will make it so
when i live it will blossom
life will be found in all its non-corners
there will be no end
to life
the trees that grow out the skin
are all one tree living apart from
human time they are gestating
not yet to be born this earth is
too young and only the amoeba
swim on it
when i die i will cast you off
witness that true language is a virus
that thoughts outside your own have
ever slowly crept inside your head
nothing moves without my eyes to see
why have i created all these sad things?
this is not my fault
the rivers are spontaneous memory
do they begin or terminate at the source
without one there is not other imagine
how the mountain and the rain become
the shore and the ocean how land becomes
water and land again
i have ignored all these things
they arose sprouting from my mind as fungus
as vestigial reveries of other worlds
i am pulling the wheel
one day i will walk upon it
next in front
in the end it will crush me
packing me deep in warm soil
i will bask in the womb of entropy
i will have done many great and terrible things
least of which is this.
I guess you could say ink and paper make the writer, and I guess that's why I choose not to use them.

who needs this world, we'll get a new one
the round clock
time tock
shape
I am there
I am not
a blue blip on a blue map screen
relay information
direction
in which to go
denied location
forward & down
six feet in light years
a million million billion miles
an hour away
wrinkled smile
facial recog
dream light cam
mounted on the precipice
top most peak of earth
mankind
rain down
disturb the quartz-like clouds
solar swell
the curved broken edge
flat memory superimposed
mythical structures
lost planet's lost people
lost me
adrift
in space
tethered to the sun
slowly suffocation fetish takes hold
cooked to crisp
in artificial life
deficient of the answers to come
set to silent
outerspace mode
what come after life
beloved by empty limits of our dream
to
substitute what has passed
for what is
present
the round world
is smashed down
on paper
scanned
uploaded into the sky
shines but a while
is marked for deletion
by the future children of the colonial age
I am left to be one of those old fashioned things
better off
forgotten
tied to the umbilical cord of old worlds
outmoded
set adrift at launch to lighten the weight
burning backwards
burning along with
doomed earth
doomed sun
doomed minds.

Need help for short panis here!
Erect a star antenna
fit the lens of the reflection
of retribution of the
salvation of the earth
to the membrane filament of
the singing skull
all late century human
history has been building to this
Jupiter is our mirror
is the mechanism of escape
the outer inner-cosmos
of mind reflected in
hyper-space time
holding the key to our
species fate,
prepare the human corpse
for jettison,
man is an artifact
meant for space travel
now is the time of the
coming of the end of the
world is nigh
close your eye to the past
there is nothing left
that is to be done,
only that you relinquish
your hold to the control
belief, only that you
prepare to begin anew.

Entitled
and one by one into the cabin space
landscape annihilator they go,
point to point connection, rotation,
here now go and here back and nothings
changed except for lag on the camera lens,
sleep time and that light, those cloudy horizons,
all that unwashed rabble, green squares, land,
below; airplanes are for people without wings.

I Dream of Space Madness
from the nearside
of mars, ship passageways
washed in crimson red
hues, rotating, I climbed
along, anti-gravity, pulling
myself toward what I
could remember, the sleeping
quarters, outside
thin windows protected me
from super nova heat, flashing
lights, winding, collapsing
prismatic geometrical shapes,
life and death of planets, reaching
back into infinity,
I held my breath, rushed on,
we had decided, next trip
a round about in space,
earth to mars cannonball
run, two weeks, five bodies,
rested my head against a
window to calm my nerves,
forgetting where I was
drifting, thoughts, ways-aways
and going out and incoherent
somethings-or other-images
maybe I got it, images. and
I realized I had made it
to my destination,
flood of natural light
like torn from a trip
oxygen sucked out
and vomited me back into
reality, all space cleanliness
and whiteness, safety,
outside, endless black
and twittering stars, blinking,
waving goodbye,
Joe and Tommy sat up in
their bunks, groggy, from space
madness, I thought, should
have known, trip was on
the back end back to earth,
expected, but now, I thought,
there's no one who can land this
thing, we've come out and
back, with crash landing planned.

Space Time
I am peering
through telescopic
galaxies and exploding
stars
I can see you,
alone among
an infinite prismatic web
of supernova fireworks
seeing only black
inky madness in between,
seeing madness
and asking questions
with no answer,
is it enough that
we are here,
a fracture of the
essential turning mind?
spreading out my cosmic
right arm, I'll draw you in
and whispering lullabies
we'll put ourselves to sleep
among the endless one thing
that makes up the universe
already ended.

Long time coming
Has anyone slept forever?
pressed between layers of purple-white sheets,
calling across the room to bitter sun beaming,
"please end your useless shining sir, this bed is for sleeping only,
and always,"
"always?" setting fire to anxious spiraling dust,
"I intend to sleep a long long time?"
from beneath frothy blankets the answer less a question,
"now I'm getting tired...go away." ah-ha,
"but, I control the time for waking and the time for sleeping,
little girl." and the burning of ants and skin,
the moon tempts the waves, and gaia
moans moans moans until the gravity
collapse and the asteroids,
ah, the asteroids,
let me tell you about them--

Time Ploy(Plot)
while Proust
eats Madeleine
sea shell crumbles
on ocean waves
of fragrant undertows
sweet rip tides sucking
scent of rose petals,
bergamot peals, sour
sweet shore breezes,
our sky is falling
elsewhere, go
run the cowered
mass of humanity
shoving each other
at the door, one more
building to fall,
hoping to make the
top floor,
shield their heads
with books, the largest
novels wastefully,
paper cannot halt
the meteor storm,
to be dead on top of
screaming bones and
bloody flesh, dead eyes
on blue sky, cloudless,
all wishes gone,
by the old lunch cart
ol' '52, stale boiled coffee
cents a pound, we drink
it up all day, in an idea-
effort to build the storm,
took near 500 year, year
2450 in fact when the
corrugated shells slipped
without warning past mars,
struck god/man down, when
paper, buildings and thought
were razed. it's an eventuality
everyone dies in literature
the books forgotten, quotes
misused, idols misjudged.
so we brought it all down
she said on the executioners
chair, we died on the bottom
floor, smiles on mounds of
concrete death, letters on
our tongues.

We are a part of it
they dip their
hands in cosmic
goop of no hands
with no-sat eyes
nova explosions
in the hypertime
void;
the past is moving quickly away
we are lumbering into the future,
there are gods spread through
4th dimensional bleeding walls,
able to see structure of birth and death
concrete, only in its non-existence
solidly opaque,
this is nothing out there
but the rough edges of an explosion,
rattling through space,
dragging about time,
hands in cosmic
goop of no hands

Lost Pen, Borrowed Mind
These things, they are getting easier to predict,
junk soaked hash browns in the eternal rotating mind,
a blank like white wallpaper stare might as well be
painted clones, all the same, one layer glued at a time,
I think, along with the crackle of fat & oil on griddle,
my brain eddies, flows, drops off the picture, past frame,
I see a candle going out
a room dressed in black pearls
sickness on the pinwheel, ferris
wheel, on the burnt cross squinting
fool,
I half understand, half forget
we write, in double speak, images, its own existence--
a cat, his rat. playing with infinite gladness of sun speckled dawn,
all stars are suns to dead planets in the solar array,
we just named ours first, classified to de-mystify,
to bottle it up--
it's killing really,
building a fictional state,
a scientific existence reality,
call it a sacrifice to Lovecraftian
gods of memory, overshadowed
by numbers, remarks, discourse,
citations, speeches to legitimate,
in million dollar conference rooms,
concerned wholly with the "I"
I am not a forgotten boy
I chose utter foolishness anonymously
I do not seem to fit
remember the am
remember the me
I play each part perfectly,
time is not counting up
it is counting down,
hit the cannon thrust
to evolutionary strain
TARGET: Entropy
NEXT STOP.
A bomb carried through time looking for an escape,
a pacifist era to claim, skeletons & rusted beams, sinking
ships killed the moon to bring on the floods,
I am no longer welcome,
too much was said,
promise me you'll watch from the windows,
scrape the mold,
I found the cellar door,
it was all down hill from there--
junk soaked hash browns in the eternal rotating mind,

BANG!
the sound of
book on hand
closing
is empty
weightless
still
no echoes
out ever-oneness
no vibrations
strings
don't ya see?
already gone--
angel
Busted!
kick of engine
to beat the light
rattles earthly
night
unencumbered by lines
unresponsive
at ease!
AT EASE!
I'll tell ya.
Let go
yellow glow--
and needs--
--I recall.
silence after
short breathes
No cops going:
Oh!?
made it, child.
grope in my void
I'll open my coat
to darkness space.
Look closely
each speck (pixel) of nothing
you pick up,
is a billion stars
a galaxy
eternal light.

Evermore, Everlasting
is there such a thing?
you grind your teeth as
you fall asleep
a foot under cover
a foot out
or nothing?
I am naked beside you
hands under chest
on my stomach
eyes facing you
will it ever end?
milky way spiral big dipper
sound in the night
dark and restless angel
of the far gone away
or is there never ever?
holding a torch for you
burning at the edge
unburdened by space
untouched by time
you grind your teeth as
you fall asleep
a foot under cover
a foot out
or nothing?

I.01.I
thousand
fingers jam
on heated keys
play on like player
piano keyboard
letter stamped
nightmare visions
A lonely balcony
rotting wood panels
wind gust
by
hair tossed with
flower petal
fall
a scent of spring
whirl from
cascade hills down
mountain side above
clear and golden
meadow
haunted house
open view for miles
far as eyes
SEE
far as human thought
you are one thing
with me
upon me of
me
I am nothing that
ever was
only a stray thought
EXISTS
breaks dirt
rises from brown
hard soil
gasps into air
FLOATS
is word letter gray fog
BURNING
oil
lamp home stray
fire
for all mouths to
SEE
thousand
searching ears
touch finger tips
bathe toes in
cool turquoise

CLEAN
humanity as one
hulking beast
but sure
calm steps lightly
on greenish
coils
a universal graveyard idea
a whiskey colored jar
SIP

Space Virus
came down
look at star
shooting westward
always westward
I'm on that trip
on that way
foreveralwaysneverendingly
stuck seeing empty
passage revolving
heat birthed bodies
in the cold sinew
between one form expanding
out from the beginning
one being working the insides
sentient consciousness individual
consciousness is a virus
star grazer we've been infected
with misunderstanding, I'm trying to
get back there, to the first step
to the all-being-one-ness
to the entry point
I wanna see how it used to be,
I want to be what's next.
look at star
shooting westward
always westward
I'm on that trip
on that way
foreveralwaysneverendingly
stuck seeing empty
passage revolving
heat birthed bodies
in the cold sinew
between one form expanding
out from the beginning

Reincarnation
here now work
drive stake into bone
chest ribs cracking here
then turn toward mindeyewatchful
awake-ness, pass into
a place of no time no thought
mindyielding static shocks on
the keyboard with each tap,
there is silence, quick grind
of tired bodies, heaven, heaving
arching mindfallingdreaming
every loved thing in the cosmos
teetering like a sand filled toy
won't fall just nods left right center
back here now listen to sounds
of the window, of the world
speaking whispers green cozy blues
here then what comes next, what's
always coming, lay your ears to the
ground and understand here when
the nightdaypassage is illusory,
romantic, brazen, here please
hold my hand, stare into the abyss
read this as an image not
as words, there is no linear narrative
why do we assume reincarnation works
that way? Proceeds forward like a single file
march drawing time as a third dimensional line,
what if you're the first life
of many scattered? where does the cycle begin?
here now then where how

To dream of Reality and the outcome
We stood back-to-back
against the insane map of the stars
bordering on un-reality,
I saw every twinkling existence
the shroud of the milky way
the black holes and supernova
births, we stepped toward them
and the darkened path moving away,
our footholds were hard, invisible
but concrete, space was something
else entirely, not what we'd been told,
each time we moved forward
it was like gigantic light-speed leaps,
the stars were merely illusory lights
a thumbnail of burning gases on black wallpaper,
there was the great charade, the great
universal lie,
our lives were vindicated.

collage o' collage
It's the nature of space
to blip-blip-blip out existence, and
some asteroid is eventually gonna smoosh us
without the satellite laser to protect
the techno-biological-mind that
thinks for the masses and tucks our babies
in at night; that's a fairy tale though, because space
is only time that's infinitely empty, the truth is
under the stars closing in, the cold
stars that cut like diamonds through indigo
Philadelphia skies; you can't see them
my love, the stars, you'll have to imagine them 'cause
we're somewhere's else entirely,
somewhere in the pretty marsh
that exists after time, that isn't anything special
at all, that is as always was inevitably uncolored,
a shrinking iris, a beautiful smile.
