this dismembered vision
held on to rough edges
not something seen
felt
originated in sleepless
head drooping nights
of finer reality
driving me mad
or into madness
or into a realization
of madness already come
too late here
feeling the twisting
pinwheels
beyond
I bleed out from
the outside
in torrents of color
I am a prismatic ghost
at least I think or thought I was
or maybe am
if this is what I am thinking
or have thought or is
what I have felt
or perhaps seen
at least thought I saw or think
I was seeing
still phantoms feed me eyes
showing all single strands of time
forcing memory upon me
drowning in kaleidoscopic
whirlpools derived from dreams
this disembodied vision
held together by fragile strands
like rain in twilight of summer days
something heavy
fleeting
originated in the sleepless nights
of my finer realities
I guess you could say ink and paper make the writer, and I guess that's why I choose not to use them.

I.01.I
thousand
fingers jam
on heated keys
play on like player
piano keyboard
letter stamped
nightmare visions
A lonely balcony
rotting wood panels
wind gust
by
hair tossed with
flower petal
fall
a scent of spring
whirl from
cascade hills down
mountain side above
clear and golden
meadow
haunted house
open view for miles
far as eyes
SEE
far as human thought
you are one thing
with me
upon me of
me
I am nothing that
ever was
only a stray thought
EXISTS
breaks dirt
rises from brown
hard soil
gasps into air
FLOATS
is word letter gray fog
BURNING
oil
lamp home stray
fire
for all mouths to
SEE
thousand
searching ears
touch finger tips
bathe toes in
cool turquoise
spring
CLEAN
humanity as one
hulking beast
but sure
calm steps lightly
on greenish
coils
a universal graveyard idea
a whiskey colored jar
SIP
pins and needles dancing
flesh
foxes cats burglars
birds of prey
the forest floor
a lonley planet
traveling through pinkish space
ahead of time

A Marching Sound
I
walked
into shape of
night
pupils dilate slowly
it is
much like
the day
so much so
I walk easily out
nothingness
in
my
dream
there
are
visions
I follow them
to open green
field sharp grass
sharp smell of spring
so
completely and utterly
forgotten
a marching sound
heavy boots on leather
roads
a bell rings
twice
an unknown chime
unheard of
in
my
waking
there
is
dissonance
I search two bodies
wandering in piecemeal
moving on divergent
paths
we come face to face
silent stares
passing
strangers in stars amongst
the milky way sky
a picture book image of
the universe
steady shrinking
inaudible scream
in
my
eyes
are
your
eyes
in the morning
your sun
washes shadows
hangs them up
to dry
begins anew.

I Dwell in Milk
NOW
I AM SPEAKING
I AM ART
THE SKY IS ONE WITH
MY VISION
MY VISIONING
MY VISIONARY SOUL
I HAVE TRANSCENDED
to what?
I ask the ether
TO NOWHERE
is [her] answer
WHERE EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING
AT ONCE
I see it all--
or I can tell what's missing
I AM TRUSTWORTHY
for
the first
time
I (EXIST) PURELY WITH EVERYONE
I AM BEAUTIFUL
ALONE
TOGETHER
EVER
EVER
I saw the sun fall past the horizon
screaming out the name
I HAVE BURNED AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD
I AM MITHRA
I
BRING
BACK
FIRE
TO
LIGHT
THE
EARTH
EVERLASTING
I AM SPEAKING
I AM ART

When we hit it
when we hit Cali
I'll wear a Panama hat
Hawaiian shirt & khaki shorts,
because it's Spring
ride that look the rest a' the way
'cross rainbow desert expanse
sky painted ghost towns
knowing old forests
foggy ancient mountain ranges
those great & mysterious American rivers--
I'll christen myself
old man of the road
the fading spirit infinity--
forever wandering
soul
going
bitterly achingly to death
one heavy mile--one golden
bridge--
one earthly abyss--
at a time.

She's a Reflection
Her glass stare shattered
on playground concrete,
her steely vase reflected
hips and ass
her nakedness was a child's myth,
clumsy,
boy's recalled only the purple sky
or was it golden
like her eyes that day?--
"no one matters," she spoke
like a question festering
as they hung on her every word,
she had those legs like the end
of a dream
unimaginable.

For you
I saw your city
sink into the muck
of our collective
past,
a monument
to failure,
a laughing joker-sun
brilliantly coal red
in the summer
dying fire--
I marked it down
in my journal
of revelations
to scrawl on the
wall of bone dry hells
of our sometime
future,
I sang a song
that was a lie
so beautiful
as it disappeared
into the horizon
centrifuge,
just so you can claim it
as yours,
I'm giving it away--

Half past the gas stations
A vision on that dirt
Lexington, Kentucky road,
standing on barrier between
worlds
given
to
descending
imaginings
on red railings
made
of God's metal
American metal
in and
out of America
alone on the border
of
ALL
EXISTence
I heard
followed in the
rising heavy
pounding sky
a tumbling chorus
imploring me
to
OPEN my EYES
for
all times
for every waking body
forever and ever
there
is an infinite trail OUT here
that YOU must take
and never stop
never stop
never go back
wish all well
and cut THOSE
ties
you've work to do before you
die
you've roads to cover
before you die SO
be weary
SON
you'll never
be done
get
mo
ving.

IN dreams i'm MAD, have VISIONS
Once I wrote it all out, tho
you won't believe me,
it was splattered on my floor
in rich, vibrant colors and non-colors,
non-existent breaths and streaks of sky,
I stepped around the letters
each morning when I awoke
from heavy sleeps with hair
tangled about my sweaty face,
everything was there, all we wished to say,
it was perfect, beautiful, a world unto itself,
the etching, the care, each curve and straight line
of it a truth much like death unavoidable, each fucking
lettered space unbelievably serene, I'll tell you
I kept each thought in pristine condition,
never dropped a sandwich crumb,
and it was hard, and it weighed on me
until I forgot
and I scuffed it, until I hated those old gashes and
lovely curls, that truth I'd seen enough of,
I spit on it this morning, in the cool
light with the toilet running,
I wrote your name on the walls.
