it's that come dwn
mmnt
stars explode
black space
hand ovr eys
light and moon
overcast
shadows
feeling
empty focus
seeing
thoughts bleed
into single strain
hole in head
filled
that mmnt b4 sleep
same running thoughts
bubbling over
I stand on the edge of great expanse
there is no other side
just oozing blue evermore
pulled bck through
stationary
time no longer spinning
listen to my own breath
still and soft
night wanes
starry
night
sky
night
I guess you could say ink and paper make the writer, and I guess that's why I choose not to use them.

I lost it
I saw the
great emptiness
and I opened my eyes to it,
opened my mind to it,
aceepted infinity in
all directions,
rejected all finite definitions,
all finite philosophies,
I saw the world fall apart,
truly fall apart,
the walls lurched back and
peeled away,
there was a great statue in the distance
a statue to represent all things
living, dead, built, imagined, destroyed,
it was no shape, one shape, all shape,
it was both miraculous and mundane,
there was complete silence,
a silence of the void,
the silence of solid space,
I saw this great emptiness
at the top of the stairs,
it was in some ways magenta colored
other times indigo blues,
I labored there forever,
suffered for but a few seconds,
I struggled to hold on
but the lie forced me back,
there was nowhere to rest my back,
nowhen to turn,
I saw the great emptiness
and I blinked.

Bolt
mercy mercy mercy mercy

Montgomery park is big red
San serif signing
without trees or
greens only visible
in the steel sky of
night.
In Baltimore the word moans outward
across
heaven.
follow blinking polka dot arrows.
paved veins.
re-purposed arteries.
coal burnt hearts.
find the mark to stab it deep.
the south
bleeds black
tarry blood
from its
many wounds
I vomit,
from the stench,
the ground
kisses my feet.

I don't hear much but the church bell
it's 10 o' clock, my eyes are adjusting
to the light, does the void consume us
in lonely hours when sitting alone I think
maybe there are countless parallel universes
where each time we die one linear thread is
created, and each of us lives one life until
old age and thousands of deaths, until
the final death we can't escape and in trying
waste our life on worry and regret, never
understanding that only to others do we ever die
horrible deaths, early deaths, unfair deaths, we exist in the
greater dimension, the suffering, the sadness,
we are one cog in the universal machinery of death
and rebirth, I fear the moment of realization
when I'm dying, I've lived it a thousand lifetimes,
I've seen all my threads, I've broken the wall, I've
been an old man on a porch watching the sun fall, a dying car
crash victim holding his chest thinking "no", a young father
clutching his heart thinking of his abandoned family, the years
he's left behind, In those dreams the church bells never rung,
in those dreams without blue sky, it's 10 o' clock I hear the
echo of silence, and the clanging, ringing, life
outside.

I bought this new text book of walking history and it taught my students to mix water and concrete
The soil is weightless,
yet the trees form concrete walls,
a quiet liminality exposed,
past bleeds into present
clean air and the rumble of the automobile,
Thundering silence
and we shouldn't be here,
though we need to be;
understand or forget.
to ignore, and crucify
the steady beat of identity,
fragile and benign,
clouds heavy with rain
beating down,
a memorial hastily constructed,
following the bend and curve of road and river;
the discourse of commercial markets pursued,
a discipline of asphalt and ignorance,
governments and private wealth,
a history of interstate highways,
walmarts, shopping malls, and
supermarkets to worship
and write about in circular ads.
the new history,
the new past,
heroes and gods
barely perceptible
a new identity dissolves.
