RE: INBOX (16)

a string of battered emails.
generation spam.
each letter literal abstraction,
disaffected; inbox is maintained.
cannot catch the stench
of sinking trash; delete and remove
after 30 days; calender adverts;
listserved linked mind; the
churning filtration dynamo
at work; labels; tabs; contacts.
translation material cast into space,
through inverted clouds,
tattooed mainframes; empty
caloric consumption; the bites of
mosquitoes in february, the
sour taste of upraised meat, a
funeral procession forwarded
down every street.

SPAM- delete forever

Spam Swiss Pie - Bake 45-55 minutes
or until eggs are set- the poetry of a good
gmail ads usually makes up for the loss
of privacy I sacrifice as they scour my files
for anything self-incriminating
or childish enough to sync
up to the bullshit $$$millions$$$
that keep them running my life,
filling my calendar and
classifying my emails day and night.

Inbox

Hold tight to
cleverly imagined truths,
art and rainbow stained,

All text is an eventual lie,
in cursive or print,
whichever the chosen medium,
crass and laconic
in the mornings wet fog,
refusing to rise from its
too close to ground slumber,
burning like wildfires on the rising dawn,

We're all removed (forced marched) to
the crystal-like clear darkness
of the american wilderness,
far from the maternity wards
of claustrophobic sprawling suburban America,
waving to passersby at 180 mph
somewhere along the sad roads,
dancing our way through the sad fiber-optic dance,
ignorant of our shared sadness,
human and spambot alike.

double-click

Art.

I hate art.
Everything about it.
Abstract, Impressionism, neo-abstract-impressionism.
A Spam filter on the other hand,
is beautiful.

It protects me from being forced to determine
if I should read an email with the heading:

STOP. You need LARGE PENIS. Tired of unsatisfied women? 77% off TODAY ONLY.

Monet would be jealous,
but mostly because he slowly went blind.

SPAM

The Tomato Giant...
What the fuck is that?
These ads are becoming too abstract,
a tomato isn't even in the shape of a penis.

Bull Pushing your Babe?- Be a Carnal Maniac

If?
If you automatically get relegated?
When deletion eliminates you,
Before forever
in my trash can,
Why?
Why keep sending?
So I have to put you down?

An Exuberant futility,
your exuberance pushing send in the face
of failure, the futility of defeating my spam box
never reaching you,

One day we'll all understand,
and test your miracle,
we'll measure and lie and smile and talk,
asking for returns, money back and postage free,
and that's when you'll stop hitting send,
Your spam doing all the work,
an answer content in our futility,
exuberant.
